Specialties
Child Sexual Trauma
You are not alone. I provide education, support and strategies to help you begin the process of healing. You are so brave to embark on this journey! It won’t always be easy or feel good, but it will be worth it if you stick to it.
Parenting and Parenting For Hearing Parents of Deaf Children
The home is the most important place to learn critical life skills in an environment of safety and love. It can feel so hard to achieve! I provide education, and hands-on experiences for parents seeking to create a haven for their family. I can help you navigate the challenges of a bi-cultural home for hearing parents of Deaf children as well as the plethora of feelings you are facing.
Vicarious Trauma
ASL Interpreters, vet techs, daycare providers. You have a heart of service. It is estimated that 8% of the US population (24 million) experience vicarious trauma which impacts everything. Through education and activities, I will guide you in exploring how this shows up for you. I provide a dedicated space to relearning the beautiful harmony of all the hats you wear.
Intensives
Trauma is stored in the body without language. When we meet for intensives, we will engage in various activities to access the memory for processing. Some of these activities could be, though are not limited to: EMDR, nature walks, sandtray, body movement, art, and healthy snacks.
Play Therapy
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play IS serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” Mr. Rogers
